Aloha!!
On Monday we had our zone activity. We played basketball and volleyball, super fun! Then we had dinner at the Walburgers (Bishop's house). We had soup - I don't remember what it was , but it was good! My favorite part - we went caroling at Balboa Island! We sang Christmas carols and hymns. It was a hit! We also did it on Christmas eve and it went very well!
Tuesday was my birthday! It was great! Loved it! At lunch time we went to go teach Hamid at his restaurant. I shared my testimony with him on how I came on a mission and testified of the power of prayer. Later that day a member took us to a Chinese restaurant for dinner! Sooooo good! My favorite! Sooo spoiled.
Wednesday was our district meeting day. We had a training on contacting - super good. I need it bad - that's something I struggle with, but after that training I felt more confident. Afterwards we went to go see Henry. We answered some of his questions and shared a Christmas message.
The rest of the week was crazy! On Christmas we had breakfast with our Ward Mission Leader and Skype'd our families! Sooooo awesome! We then had a zone activity, played games and did a white elephant gift exchange. It was a great night!
Thought: With the new year coming up fast, we are all focused on goals for the upcoming year. And at the same time we reflect on what we did this year and what goals we accomplished.
As we set goals for this year, make sure to include goals that will increase your spirituality. One of my goals this year is to read the Book of Mormon 3 times and mark each book I read so I can give it to someone! Let us all set awesome goals and make this year great!
I love you all and have a great new year!
