This week was pretty good! On Monday we had our P-day (like usual) and did shopping, emailing, etc... and then that night I got my haircut. I have to get it cut every 4 weeks! It grows soooo fast!! Anyway, Monday was good!
Tuesday we stopped by some referrals that we got from last Monday. No one answered, but we did leave a card and we are planning on going back this week. We also had our weekly lunch with Hamid, It was good! We talked about his experience at church. He said he enjoyed it a lot, but expressed that he's not ready to join. It will take some time, but I know that he will warm up to the idea :) We then stopped by some less actives and shared a lesson with one of them. She seemed very grateful that we stopped by!
On Wednesday, we had our district meeting. Two great trainings from Eastbluff A (Elders) and Eastbluff B (Sisters). One was on obedience and I don't remember what the other one was about.....oh wait...it was about member dinners. Great training!
On Thursday I went on exchanges with Elder Brown! It was a good exchange. Pretty crazy though! We did contacting from a less active list and had dinner with a part member family. Friday and Saturday we did weekly planning and then stopped by less actives and potential investigators. One of the less actives that we stopped by let us in and we read from the Book of Mormon with him. After the lesson, he expressed that he wanted his family to listen and and be a part of it (wife and kids are not members), so we are setting up an appointment this week with him! Super excited!
On Sunday I gave a 5 min talk in church. I shared my testimony on the Book of Mormon. Super nervous to speak, but as soon as I got up there, wham, I was talking! I can do it more often!! Also Hamid came to church again! It was great seeing him!
Thought: Not sure what to share....but this week I was thinking about when the zone leader in my last area challenged us to see people as God sees them. It reminded me of the pure love of Christ - how we should love everyone we see and talk to! So, "love your enemies, love them that curse you"
Well, sorry for the short thought - running low on time!

Love you all!
