This week was really good!
Monday for PDay we had a zone BBQ at Institute. Lots of fun playing games. After the zone activity we headed to dinner with the Claytons. I love that family! They are one of my favorites in this ward! On Tuesday we helped a less active in our ward move from one place to another. there was a lot of ward support, which was great! Afterward she got pizza for us, so now we have a lot of left overs!!:) We also went to see Hamid. Nothing really exciting happened. We are stuck on what to teach him. We have been praying and fasting to know what to do. It's really hard, but we can do it;) For the rest of the day we did the YSA list and went thru the ward list to find people who we don't know.
Dinner with Rich was that night. It was super good! Elder Davies got Mr. Serious, it's a 3 pounder burrito. It was massive! We also went to Institute. It was really great. Brother Andre is very good at teaching. He talked about the first teaching point of the Gospel and then expanded to the Savior.
On Wednesday we taught Henry with Brother Kerwin. I forgot what we taught him (since I forgot my old planner), but it was a great lesson! I cant wait for this week!
The rest of the week was great! We had dinner with a member in the YSA ward, and gave us the 411 on how we can help the ward members out. Since we are not going to serve in the ward anymore we will have to pass the info on to the new Elders:) Also last week we did weekly planning. We got a new investigator by going to OCC and inviting college students to free lunch at the Institute! We got one person to come, his name is Josh. Super cool guy! I hope everything works out with him!
I loved this week! New transfer has begun and there is a lot to do! So excited! Also this past Saturday I got called to be a District Leader!! Super excited! I hope I do a great job!
Thought: So this week I have been thinking a lot about Christ and how we as everyday missionaries strive to follow him everyday and to be like Him. This video is great on explaining why we should follow the Savior! Easter is coming up pretty fast, so make sure you keep Christ in the center of your mind!
Miss you all!
Have a great week!
