Aloha!
This week flew by pretty fast! Here's what we did this
week -
Monday we had a P-Day activity. We played volleyball with
the zone - super fun! And we had dinner with a member family, then we taught
Maddox at the Jensen home. We taught him about enduring to the end. The
most important principle you can learn - staying on the straight and narrow!

Tuesday we had planned to teach Jack Zabbos, but he rescheduled it to Thursday. We also had a district windows of heaven in the Marble Head
area. We talked to a lot of people and knocked on a few doors. Nothing promising, but I know we planted some seeds!
Thursday we taught Jack Zabbos, a 17 year old guy that's
friends with youth in our ward. It's crazy how integrated into seminary he
is and such. He's been going for the past 3 years and hasn't missed one day! Pretty amazing! We taught him the restoration with his mom, Naomi White and Brigham Meready. They had awesome input and bore strong testimonies. Over all the lesson went great! We have another lesson with him this
week! Wish us luck!;)
Saturday we went to a baptism for a girl in our ward that turned 8, A lot of her family showed up and her teacher that is not a
member. We tried to talk to her, but she wasn't interested at all. Afterward
we went to have dinner at their house, Very good food!
I don't have much time but, recently the church came out with news that same sex couples
are not allowed to have their children blessed or baptized. I do have
testimony that I know that God has things set for a reason, and I know
that families are ordained of God. And without them I don't know what I would
do. I love my family!
All the opposition with the change and the church's stance on
that subject is silly. These are the last days! The prophets have prophesied
that these things would happen, so I would recommend to stay strong and
trust the prophet's council. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is
the true church on earth and is the only one that we can receive the
highest blessings from God. Those who hold true to those principles and don't falter will obtain those promised blessings.
I love this Gospel and I will hold fast to the rod!
Love you all and have a great week!
