Stomping Bear, Free Shirt and a Fourth of July Booth!

Hello!

This week was a pretty good week! Here is what I did!

1.)  For P-day we played basketball (again).  I'm loving basketball!  I'll be a pro when I get back, watch out!!  Church ball, here I come!!!

2.)  I got my ingrown toenail removed.  That was not fun at all!  They had to do a extra injection because I still felt the pain.  So, this past week I've been walking in a boot and everyone asks about it. My comp keeps saying that I knocked on a door and a bear came and stomped on my foot. Very weird!

3.)  We had a mission picture taken this week - pretty cool.  I was in the back just chillin with my boot and such.  After the picture, my comp went to a zone leader meeting and I went on exchanges with Elder Hall for the day.  I went to his district meeting and then I went to a dentist appointment. I got a free shirt out of it!  The dentist was in my last ward, so that was a blessing!

3.)  Transfers happened this week, but  I'm staying the same.  One of the Elders in the companionship that shares an apartment with us, finished up his mission, so we will get a new missionary!  So excited!!

4.)  We had a cool 4th of July!  At the end of the day we set up a booth at the church where you can see the whole coast on top of the hill and lots of fireworks.  So, we thought it would be cool if we had a booth with a bunch of Books of Mormon, Bibles and pamphlets, and watch the fireworks at the same time!  So, in conclusion, no one took us up on any material, but we had a fun time!

So, that is pretty much it! It was a great week!

Spiritual thought:
Boyd K. Packer died this week.  It's the second apostle to die this year.  He was a very great and inspiring man, and he will be missed. Watch THIS video and the article!  It is amazing!

Well, I miss you all and hope you are going awesome!
Love,

Elder Chase Johnson
