Man, this week was a blur for sure. It was great though which was good!
Sooo this week was not a really great week with members in our ward. We had 4 dinners cancel on us last minute , and another no one was home or they were busy. That was our trial for this week but we are still pressing forward!
Monday was a great day. We went on a walk in the morning with our zone. The view at the end overlooked the Newport Stake Center and the temple. It was an awesome view! We then shared our testimonies with each other. The spirit was very strong! Ever since my first hike as a missionary, i have always loved going on those hikes and feeling the spirit. After the hike for the rest of the day we did a lot of store hunting. One of which was cologne for Elder Davies. He just had to find the best one haha!
Tuesday was zone leader exchanges. I went with Elder Jones and Lomwe and Elder Davies stayed in the area and had Elder Medina go with him. It was a great exchange! In the morning we had studies and went tracting for an hour. No one answered the door except the last one we knocked on. It was an older lady who went to Calvary Church. Super nice but not interested. Later that day we did some Marchelleese work, it was good!
After all that work we had dinner with the Calls. Super nice older couple and super good food! We shared a message on the temple and invited them to pray for who they can help go to the temple.
Wednesday we had zone conference! It was really good! It was prob the best one that I have had since the beginning of my mission! My favorite was president's training on what is possible to God. He outlined the steps of know, feel and do. It was great to go over them again. I have been using them in my lesson planning which has been great!:)
The rest of the week was pretty dry. We did a lot of walking around and stop bys. The best part of this week though was Saturday when we did our district blitz in our area. Only half were able to come but we still saw a lot of miracles!
Thought: This week changed my perspective on things. I was watching some Bible videos after planning this past week. The thing that stuck out to me is that God was with the prophets and the warriors in the Bible and he made it happen. He gave them what they promised as long as they did exactly what they said and followed the 10 commandments. That applies to us too. God has giving us our patriarchal blessings and many other types. As long as we follow the commandments and study the scriptures we will be blessed 10 fold.
Love you all! have a great week!
