Amazing Week

Aloha!

This week was.........amazing!!!  Wow!  I'll tell you when it gets later in the email.

Monday was normal -  p-day. For the activity we played ultimate frisbee.  It was a lot of fun.  I wasn't really that involved since there was a lot of missionaries. but it was fine.  As long as it was fun!

We had dinner that night with the Kettlys.  I love that family!  We had spaghetti, super good!  And then we played air hockey with some of their kids.  It was a great night!

Only in California??

On Tuesday we saw Hamid.  We finally got some where with him!  Had a great lunch with him and invited him to pray (start at the basics).  He said he would do it and let us know if he did it or not.  I have faith that he will do it:)  We then took the time to go thru the ward list and visit people.  A lot of members were home and we got to introduce ourselves.  We did it everyday this week:)  There are some awesome people that we have met and I can't wait for this week!

Wednesday we had district meeting.  It was awesome!  I gave a training and it was on windows of heaven.  I felt like I did a good job, but I can always do better for sure!  Leading a district is hard, but I find it very rewarding as well!  The sprint directs me to those who need to give trainings and for me to say something during a training that would help someone in the district.  I have seen it in the past 2 weeks already!  I love being a district leader!

Goofballs

Now Thursday...the moment you have been waiting for!  We had a lesson with Robert (this was our first meeting with him).  He was already taught the restoration from the College Park Elders.  My goodness.....HE IS GOLDEN!!!!!!!!!!!  There is a lot  I can say about him - he understands the scriptures, agrees with everything that we teach, and also follows thru on commitments.  He watched conference this week on his own, came with us to the priesthood session and met a few people from our ward.  He's going to fit in very well in our ward for sure!  We have a lesson with him on Thursday!  We will see how that goes!

Conference was awesome!  My favs were Holland, Monson and Bednar.  They were awesome talks!!

Thought: Elder Bednar talked about saving ordinances.  I really liked how he explained it so we can better explain it to our investigators.  It was an answer to my prayers!  Baptism is so important! And also without the Gift of the Holy Ghost we won't get our fullest of God's blessings!

I love you all!  I wish I could write more about my spiritual thought, but got to go to a quick service...on p-day!  Now that brings blessings!

Have a great week!
