God Be With You Til We Meet Again

Hello!

What a week!  It went by sooooo fast that I can't really remember a whole lot.
Mother's Day was very good!  I got to speak with my family!  I can't believe that it's been about 5 months since I talked to them last. It's pretty crazy to think about!!

Elder Johnson - Mother's Day 2015

Here are a few things I did this week:

1.)  We met with the Bishop in Liberty Park last week.  It was really great!  He is super missionary minded and is excited to have Elders in the ward.  Also the youth are awesome!  They are on fire - inviting their friends to activities, seminary and church.  And they actually come!!  It's awesome!  This ward has a bunch of potential!  I can't wait!!!

2.)  We had a lot of meetings again - just the same o'l ones......haha

3.)  I went on exchanges with one of the zone leaders, Elder Dehaas, hes awsome! he reminds of Bruce (if you know him at all), he pulls jokes all the time and makes me laugh!  It's awesome!!  I also went on exchanges with Elder Duling,  We had a fun time and it was very busy.  We visited a few members, dropped by the Primary activity at the park and then we did a 4 hour service project!  It was nuts!!

Well that is pretty much it, but I will end with a spiritual message.  My favorite scripture is Helaman 5:12 in the Book Of Mormon:

12  And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth is mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.

I know if we stick to that foundation we will never fall, no matter what!  So I invite you if you haven't done so already!  Build it!  You really do need it!

I hope all of you have an awesome week!
Love you all!
