When you freeze....

Hello from Capistrano!!

I got transferred last week to the San Clémente Zone in the San Juan Capistrano Ward! I'm super excited to be here!! The members in the ward are super nice and very open to have missionaries come over!  I love it!

My New companion is Elder Miller.  He is super awesome and very, very obedient, which helps me a ton!  He has taught me sooo much in the past week.  One thing that really helped me a lot is, when you freeze up, just start to bear your testimony!  So, every time I freeze up it works.  I just bear it and the spirit comes out strong! He has also recently been telling me that I have a really strong testimony and it has the potential to convert a lot of people! Oh, the most important detail! Me and Elder Miller got doubled into the area, so we are both new here which is kind of scary since we have no idea where anything is with no map or gps.  Kind of stinks.

So, this week we did a lot of member work since we are new in this area, and met a lot of great people along the way!!  So, for investigators, we have Sam.  We met her on Wednesday night and taught her the 1st lesson with a member family that she's staying with.  Also we have a lot of less actives.  We saw 4 of them this week.  My fav so far is a Japanese sister who is taking care of her husband who suffered from a stroke 5 years ago.  He can't walk or talk. It's really sad :(
We have a lot of lessons this week and I cant wait!!

Love you all!
Elder Chase Johnson
