Teaching and Singing

Dear Family!  This week has been so great!!The first thing that happened was transfers. Sadly, I stayed behind cuz there wasn't enough room for all three of us with Elder Tombs stuff. (He got transferred). So me and Elder Hilton stayed behind to clean the apartment! The end result looked awesome...don't ask about it now.... its back to being messy!! The companionship pretty much stayed the same, it's just me and Elder Hilton. Nothing really that different. Something that was really awesome this week was that i went to a Vietnamese restaurant! It was sooooo good!! I got the noodle bowl with shrimp, squid and veggies! Sooo good!!Another good thing that happened this week was we got a new Persian investigator named Shrin. We taught her once and she came to church this Sunday!! We were so happy! I can't wait to see the progress she makes! Another thing new is that I'm practicing Church songs on the piano! So, by the end of my mission I hope to be able to play in church! We will see! :)Well that's pretty much it....oh, we (as a mission) are going to watch the new movie "Meet the Mormons"! I'll tell you all how it is in my next letter! I'm soooo excited!! Hope all is going well over there! I love seeing the pictures of everyone!!Love you all!Elder Johnson

Sis. Orgill's post from the mission Facebook page: "The Newport Beach Stake Conference on Saturday night. The choir sang 5 numbers. It was like "Music and the Spoken Word"! I think they sounded as good as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.....but then....maybe I'm just a proud momma !!!! These pictures are right before the meeting started as they were practicing. It was a wonderful meeting with a powerful spirit! They always bring tears to our eyes!" (Can you see Chase??)
